Stephanie Pau is a transdisciplinary artist working with tomato plants and reclaimed materials (mainly wood, paper and plastic) to gently queering dominant constructs in urban ecologies and practice repair and reclamation towards more-than-human care and belonging. Art-making as a process of holding spaces for entangling, un-/re-learning ways to be part of nature in urban landscapes, which entails re-examining narratives of production and consumption. She holds an MRes Healthcare and Design degree from the Royal College of Art (2019) and is a world-taught artist, maker and printmaker - taught in the communities, shops, short courses, over the internet and mainly through observations and experimentations. Tomato Plants et al is an artist collective - one human (Stephanie Pau), tomato plants and urban waste materials, meandering towards more-than-human care and belonging.
