Artist Statement
Stephanie Pau
@whereisfuture
Stephanie Pau
@whereisfuture
  Stephanie Pau
is a transdisciplinary artist working with tomato plants, wildflowers and reclaimed materials (mainly wood, paper and plastic) to gently queering dominant constructs in urban ecologies and practice repair and reclamation towards more-than-human care and belonging. She usually works in the medium of printmaking, installations and durational performances. Art-making as a process of holding spaces for entangling, un-/re-learning ways to be part of nature in urban landscapes, which entails re-examining narratives of production and consumption.
Tomato Plants et al is an artist collective - one human (Stephanie Pau), tomato plants and urban waste materials, meandering towards more-than-human care and belonging.
